Dr. James J. Yarmus is a Professional Urban and Transportation Planner, a Professional Engineer, and a Construction Manager with over 30 years of experience. He is the 2009-10 President of the NY State Society of Professional Engineers. He is multilingual and includes among his language skills, full command of Spanish.

Dr. Yarmus was born in Cuba and has been qualified as an MBE (minority business enterprise) and DBE (disadvantaged business enterprise). Additionally, he teaches ethics, urban and transportation planning, and construction management for various universities in the NY and NJ area.
